STUDY PROGRAM - MANAGEMENT
The study program Management is a generally focused university education in the field of economics, business management and business administration.
The mission of the Faculty of Management is to produce high-class and competitive graduates who are highly business oriented and able to work in teams or hold managerial posts in various organizations. Within its strategy, the faculty declares its idea to continue in current development and successful performance in the management study program and, as an integral part of Comenius University Bratislava, to contribute also to the research in the field of economics and business management.
The whole graduate study program is divided into two stages, the bachelor study program and the master study program. Our faculty also provides post-graduate PhD. study.

BACHELOR STUDY
The study consists of various business-oriented subjects that cover general topics of economics, management, marketing, finance, accounting, project management, personnel management, and law. In addition, the study plan is also oriented to the modern trends in individual topics.
The study emphasizes the most critical aspects of business studies while developing business English language and technical or presentation skills. Bachelor's degree students gain basic knowledge in various management fields and related scientific disciplines.
Particular topics of interest can be developed when writing a bachelor's thesis.
The bachelor's degree also offers opportunities for Erasmus+ mobility within the entire EU.
MASTER STUDY
The master's degree offers in-depth study in financial management, strategic management, marketing management, management of information systems, business ethics, and organizational behaviour, which enable the acquisition of comprehensive knowledge about managing different crucial aspects in companies.
The master's degree offers two main study trajectories:
- Finance & Strategy
- IT & Marketing
The use of managerial skills is universal. In practice, however, it is increasingly in demand due to automation and robotization in industry, the expansion of Business Shared Services Centres and other international organizations in Slovakia. Graduates find employment in positions ranging from a business specialist, business analyst, company director, finance or personnel director, sales manager, quality manager, marketing specialist or marketing manager, process owner, consultant, or project manager. Particular topics of interest can be developed when writing a master's thesis.
The master's degree also offers opportunities for Erasmus+ mobility within the entire EU and Erasmus+ internships in companies.
DEADLINES AND FEES
Undergraduate study (bachelor)
- The deadlines for applications - March 31, 2024
The tuition fee for one academic year for students in English program is 1,990 €. The standard length of study is three years for the full-time study.
The application fee for admission procedure in English language is 80 €.
Payment method: via the e-application, an account number or a QR code (Pay by Square) will be generated as per the procedure.

Graduate study (master)
- The deadlines for applications - May 31, 2024
The tuition fee for one academic year is 2,490 €. The standard length of study is two years for the full-time study.
The application fee for admission procedure in English language is 80 €.

Admission criteria for master studies in English language, beginning in the academic year 2024/2025.
Based on your documents you will be informed if you are eligible for the study or conditionally admitted for the full-time study. To complete the enrolment you need to present a certificate of equivalence/validation of your education called “nostrification”. e-Application
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The programme is open to applicants with complete secondary education.
There is no written entrance exam for the English study program. There is no need to travel for admission. The whole process will be taking place remotely.
The entrance exam for the study program taught in English (Management - Am) is oral and consists of an exam in English and a motivational interview. It will be done by videoconference call in front of the commission.
Results from high school are taken into account in the entrance examination of all applicants, please see the general criteria and possibilities of accepting results from high school.
The maximum possible sum of points that can be obtained at the entrance exam is 100, while the point evaluation is the average of the point evaluations of the members of the commission, in the structure English language and motivational interview in the English language.
The faculty will send the invitation to the entrance exams to the candidate no later than 28 days before the date of the exam. The dates of the entrance examination for full-time bachelor's study in English in the form of a videoconference call are planned for May and June 2024.
For the study program Management in English, the Faculty of Management plans to admit 100 students in the academic year 2024/2025.

We provide an individual approach to the needs of students. In the English study program, they have theIr own study advisor.
We work with potential employers. Several companies attend classes as visiting lecturers through their representatives or business specialists. They also offer internships and positions that our students commonly use.
Our interconnections with potential employers, business leaders, entrepreneurs and successful managers help students in their decision-making on specialization issues during their studies, as well as in their career paths.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR AN APPLICATION
Undergraduate study (bachelor)
Students who have completed secondary school education, have reached the age of 17 or more and possess adequate knowledge in Mathematics and English are eligible for the study at the Faculty of Management as self-payers.

5. proof of recognition of documents of secondary education
The documents have to be properly signed by the applicant and sent via email to studywithus@fm.uniba.sk no later than May 30, 2024.
In order to get the recognition documents, the apostilled or superlegalized high school documents officially translated into Slovak (Diploma and Transcript of Records, or Diploma Supplement) are submitted to the Ministry of Education and then with the position of the Ministry, to the County School Authority which issues the Nostrification document, or prescribes additional examinations or additional study.
Graduate study (master)
Students who have completed bachelor level of education in the same or similar study program to management and possess adequate knowledge in English are eligible for the study at the Faculty of Management as self-payers.

5. a certified copy of the decision on the equivalence of the diploma, or a nostrification clause (if an international agreement does not provide otherwise).
The documents have to be properly signed by the applicant and sent via email to studywithus@fm.uniba.sk no later than June 30, 2024.
In order to get the recognition documents, the apostilled or superlegalized documents officially translated into Slovak (Diploma and Diploma Supplement) are submitted to the Ministry of Education and then with the position of the Ministry, to the appropriate Slovak university which offers the same or similar study program. The university considers the applicant’s study content and issues the recognition document, or prescribes additional examinations or the defense of the Bachelor Thesis. The recognition document issued by a Slovak university serves as a Bachelor Diploma in Slovak Republic for academic purposes.
